Post Office Notice No. 5 from 1914 announcing the introduction of “Postage Due” Labels, ex Marcus Samuel, and an internal poster “Raise & Collect Surcharges” from 1955 with artwork by Pat Keely numbered I.R.P.106.

1984 Booklet

Booklet No. 11 in the Postal History series was designed by John Gibbs. The front cover showed Eve’s design, the back cover showed designs by Matthews and Sedley Place. The booklet contained a single pane of 10 stamps with four 13p side-band and six 17p two-band stamps.

2014 Centenary

The BPMA introduced a commemorative stamp issue to its Post & Go machine at Freeling House on Wednesday 19 Feb 2014 to mark the centenary of the introduction of Postage Due labels. They were available until Saturday 5 Apr 2014.

Both the existing Machin and the Union Flag designs had the underprint “The B.P.M.A./ Postage Due 1914”. A limited number of BPMA specific first day covers were available for purchase both at Freeling House and through the online shop.
